When you connect your Instagram account, we access your public profile information and media count. We store your Instagram username and account ID to verify your identity. We do not post on your behalf.
We share your public profile information (display name, Instagram handle, niche, tier) with venues on the platform. We do not sell your personal data to third parties.
We use industry-standard encryption and security measures to protect your data. Authentication tokens are securely generated and expire after 7 days.
You can request deletion of your account and associated data by contacting us at privacy@theinfluencercircle.com. You can disconnect your Instagram account at any time from your profile settings.
We use essential cookies for authentication and session management. We use Google Analytics for website traffic analysis and to improve user experience. We do not use third-party advertising cookies or sell tracking data to advertisers.
Account data is retained while your account remains active. If you delete your account, all associated personal data is purged within 30 days. Analytics data is anonymized after 26 months and cannot be linked back to individual users.
We comply with India's Digital Personal Data Protection Act 2023. As a data fiduciary, we meet all obligations under the Act. Your data is processed on servers located in India (Mumbai region via Vercel/AWS). We do not transfer data internationally unless required for core service functionality, such as communication with the Instagram API for profile verification.
The Influencer Circle platform is intended for users aged 18 and above. We do not knowingly collect personal data from minors. If we discover that a minor has provided us with personal data, we will promptly delete such information.
We may update this Privacy Policy periodically to reflect changes in our practices or applicable laws. For material changes, users will be notified via in-app notification. We encourage you to review this page regularly.
